There are many local soap manufacturers like African Bliss, Rain or Milk & Honey. Rondavel from the KZN Midlands makes soaps using natural, sustainable & local ingredients wrapped in biodegradable or reusable packaging. You can choose from what is used as base for the soap (eg glycerine) and your preferred fragrance.

Many body care ranges like Ecoco and Natraloe include soaps.

Liquid soaps in the form of hand- or body washes are popular and easy to find. I like The Victorian Garden ones. The Grapefruit and the Rosehip/Geranium are some of my favourite fragrances.

With Woolworths own label washes and shampoos you need to check the bottle. The more expensive ranges are generally made in South Africa, the basic range is made in China.
