Bloublommetjieskloof makes a honey and calendula balm as well as a baby wash and a massage oil.

Oh-lief offers bum balm, baby wax and an insect-repellent balm. It also offers a shampoo and an aqueous cream.

Mother Nature Products include barrier balm, organic goats milk soap and body lotion.

Naturals Beauty sells body lotion, a milk wash and a shampoo.

On the chemist and supermarket shelves:

Locally made Babaderm offers nappy cream, body lotion, body wash and shampoo as well as a probio oil.

Natraloe sells bum balm and powder, baby oil and body lotion, bubble bath, shampoo and bodywash as well as a baby soap.

Clicks’ own label baby bum cream, baby lotion, baby oil and aqueous cream bar soap are made in South Africa.

The Elizabeth Anne’s products are made by Purity in South Africa.

Johnson & Johnson is difficult to categorise as they mainly use the cryptic ‘Manufactured for’ labels, but they say that most of their products are locally produced. Their ‘No tears’ baby shampoo, however, is imported from Italy.
