Mohair is one of the Eastern Cape’s most successful export products. The angora goats in the Eastern Cape in fact supply the hair for more than half the world’s mohair production. Mohair products are locally produced and manufactured, and natural. Some of the better known mohair manufacturers are Hinterveld and Adele’s Mohair. They all make blankets and some have other baby products, like socks or hats, on offer as well.
