CTP and Impala are the two stationery labels owned by Caxton & CTP. They manufacture their products in South Africa and cover the range from exercise books and exam pads, to pens and pencils, plastic sleeves and plastic sleeve files.

Rotatrim is the photocopy/computer printer paper from Mondi. It’s locally produced.

Freedom Stationery sells locally made exercise books, pads and files under the Marlin and MarlinKids brand. They also sell an environmentally friendly range called Triple Green, made from Sappi paper using cane fibre and no chlorine.

Pick 'n Pay housebrand exam pads and exercise books are 'Product of South Africa', as well as the lever arch files. PnP's plastic sleeves are not local, but FlipFile is a great alternative here.

FlipFile manufactures their plastic sleeves’ display books locally. FlipFile sells ‘Kangaroo Pocket’ flip files in their ‘Work Smart’ range which come from A5 all the way up to A2 size with between 10 and 50 pockets, with an extendable version up to 100 pockets. Their ‘Save the Planet’ flip file is made from recycled material. They also sell a locally manufactured scrapbook and exam pad.

Croxley is a South African brand, but only some of their products are marked as being locally made. Unfortunately there are quite a few stationery brands which don't display manufacturing information, eg the CNA housebrand.

When it comes to pens, pencils and arts & crafts supplies, I was told by a big South African stationery manufacturer and distributor that there is little local to be had. BIC pens are locally made. And in proper arts supplies dala products are made in South Africa.

Redfern sells labels made in South Africa.
